The Entrepreneurial Library Program (ELP) of the JHU Sheridan Libraries creates a wide range of customized library and information services for clients in the academic, corporate, allied-health, non-profit and other sectors. For more than 10 years we have worked collaboratively with partners to develop customized services and online libraries. ELP offers tailored consulting related to online libraries; existing physical libraries; companies; and other organizations. Two key areas include:

Online Library Consulting Services:

  • Tailored, customized online libraries
  • Creating & offering tailored online library support
  • Library analysis & needs assessment
  • Complete outsourced library management

Creating Sustainable Services:

ELP has been creating sustainable services since 1999 by carefully listening and responding to needs across a variety of environments including academic libraries and museums. Successful sustainable services have included supporting data management planning; managing private events in historic spaces; and providing services for online libraries.
